Every couple faces trials and tribulations in their relationship. Some couples find it better to deal with these problems on their own, but for others, couples counseling is the best option. Couples counseling is a type of therapy that is used to help couples resolve conflicts and improve their relationship. Counselors work with both partners to identify and address issues that are causing problems in the relationship.
The Stages of Couples Therapy:
When you go for couples counselling, you may experience any one or more of the following stages:
Fear and anxiety. This is typically the first stage, in which you are scared and anxious about what your partner might say or do. You may be worried about the future of your relationship and whether it can survive.
